DO NOT USE A MICROWAVE for ANYTHING! A MICROWAVE KILLS all of the nutrients in food and water. So in essence you are eating DEAD FOOD. It also clumps red blood cells. Spend a little more time and use stove top and oven. I use a small convection oven and it doesn't take very long, it's not as fast as nuking but it’s a check of a lot healthier.

NEW STUDY CONFIRMS MICROWAVES AFFECT YOUR HEART
A recent study examining the effects 2.4 GHz radiation (which is the frequency of radiation emitted by Wifi routers and microwave ovens) on the heart was just completed. The study found "unequivocal evidence" that microwave frequency radiation affects the heart at non-therm at levels that are well below federal safety guidelines, according to Dr.Magda Havas of Trent University .
No longer can skeptics claim that microwaves produce no immediate biological effects at ordinary household levels!

My Story about Ceramicore:
Like some of you, I had seen the Advertisement of the Stonewell Pans on a video playing in the store....so impressive! And that could be an alternative to 'Non-stick' Pans I thought......also a good way to cook a nice
steak to perfection. Then shortly after that, I noticed it on the Internet, and also a video on Ceramicore_ a set of pans that seemingly had a ceramic surface - the other, they said was a stone surface and you could see and feel it. Any way, the ceramic looked good and seemed even better to me, so I purchased a set on eBay.
Well, when they arrived, they did look nice but for one thing_ even with a white surface, they looked and felt like 'Non-Stick'........ decidedly. So, I looked into this matter closely and researched this. I did find out that the surface was not really 'ceramic' as my impression was led to believe but simply another form of Non-Stick with Toxic Chemicals in Manufacture that would - by the principle they mentioned in their Advertisement heat much hotter than non-stick pans.....and as most of us know, that is a "No No".
So, I quickly returned them, like the Stonewell. Yes, I actually bought as a 'snap buy' but returned because it wrecked my Chilly Con Carne, and for me, would only be suitable for steak. I did not think that warranted the amount of space it would take up in my cupboard. That product also had a different Non-Stick finish, I found out afterwards. I had been very tired when I made those purchases and did not research them first but went by face value....huh? So that is my two week episode of purchases and returns with these products.
INFORMATION ABOUT CERAMIC PANS
Advantages: Ceramicore is the product of our years of research . A Questionable Chemical at Best

EPA has been investigating PFOA because it:
- Is very persistent in the environment
- Is found at very low levels both in the environment and in the blood of the general U.S. population
- Remains in people for a very long time
- Causes developmental and other adverse effects in laboratory animals.
Major pathways that enable PFOA, in very small quantities, to get into human blood are not yet fully understood. PFOA is used to make fluoropolymers and can also be relehe PFOAased by the transformation of some fluorinated telomers.

PFOA and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) are the most commonly detected perfluoroalckyl acids (PFAAs) in the environment and in biological samples. While the routes of exposure to PFOA are not well characterized, the focus has been on water; however, potential exposures through consumer products and the diet are emerging issues, and are areas where Exponent has considerable expertise with other chemicals and products.

I bought stonedine cookware and it was great the first few times. THEN! things started sticking. It takes a long time to heat up and then doesn't cool down so things burn. The coating started peeling off and underneath is a clay pan. I wasted my money but it was too expensive in postage to return. I warn everyone do not buy this product. Also they have changed their name a few times I can only assume it is to avoid reviews like this

TEFLON has revolutionized the modern kitchen, but it is made using chemicals (perfluorinated compounds)
that are linked with cancer and reproductive problems and are long-lasting in our bodies and in the environment. When heated to above 450 degrees Fahrenheit some non-stick coatings release toxic gases that have been observed to kill pet birds. If you already have non-stick cookware where coatings are intact, be sure not to heat them above 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Remember, an empty pan sitting on the stove on high heat can reach this temperature, as can bakeware in a very hot oven. If you have non-stick cookware where the coating is coming off, throw it away. If you must use Non-Stick Pans, please do so sparingly, strickly on a LOW HEAT.

From my research over time, it is really best to AVOID Non-Stick Pans....... regardless of the Brand and the Claims.....when it comes to these man-made compositions, you are always dealing with TOXIC CHEMICALS with questionable outcomes at best. Always, a residue that is built up in your system of that which is foreign to your body....and.....it can't handle over time. It has to affect your health in some way. That's a good percentage of the ailments people go to their Medical Practitioner's with. And since they are trained to treat the Symptoms rather than the Cause..... they don't usually ask you what you use for Cookware and other questions like that. Their training is prescribing Medical Drugs, that sometimes work, sometimes not.
But Medical Health Scientists and Expert Natural Health Researchers are uncovering these things all the time these days......such as you see brought out on the occasional Current Affairs Programs many of us miss viewing - we are so busy, whatever. That's why I am playing my part on the Net, with my Research findings for the benefit of those who seek out information and want to be informed.
Choose Pyrex Glass bakeware and pots and pans made of Stainless Steel.
These materials are all free of toxic chemicals. Enameled pans are available, but we recommend cast iron because enamel may contain heavy metals. Aluminum pots and pans may cause aluminum to leach into food. The hazards of ingesting aluminum are well known. Best to avoid Alzheimer's. Stainless steel is a safer choice. Stainless steel and glass mixing bowls are great too.

Be mindful that some slow cookers have been made with ceramic glaze containing lead, and if that glaze was improperly fired, that lead could leach into your food. The same applies to Ceramic Oven Dishes.
Purchase one that is Lead-Free rather than FDA approved
as they make allowance for a small percentage of Lead. Would that we could trust the FDA more - their standards are highly compromised.
